Architect Kevin Toukoumidis discovered his passion for architecture through exposure to diverse urban environments living in Italy, Canada, and South America. Kevin received his Master in Architecture from Syracuse University, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering and Art from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania.

Kevin founded dSPACE Studio in 2007 after professional practice in architectural offices in San Francisco, Cleveland, Boston and Chicago. He is intimately involved in every project from start to finish, collaborating with clients to develop solutions that provide unique architectural identities and forge strong connections between interior and exterior. His portfolio includes single family and multi-unit residential, hotel, restaurant, retail, office workspace, and landscape projects.

Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is a LEED accredited professional in sustainable design. He is an active member in design and environmental communities, serving on the Bucktown Community Organization Zoning & Review Board and has been a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Residential Green Building Committee.

Tom received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree with Distinction from Iowa State University and has been part of the dSPACE team since 2009. Tom is involved in the design and management of complex residential and commercial projects at dSPACE. He is passionate about the practice of architecture and enjoys identifying new and creative solutions that lead to innovative and cost-effective designs. Tom is also committed to the art of sketching and, when he travels, can often be found sketching everything he looks at.

Kathryn received her Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has been part of the dSPACE team since 2009. Kathryn’s undergraduate degree is in Theatre and Drama, and in her former life she worked with non-profit theatre groups in Chicago. Kathryn welcomes the chance to work on projects of all shapes and sizes and is interested in how good design influences the way we live. A detailed designer, Kathryn has a background in a range of projects from high-rise mixed use to small scale residential. Kathryn is a LEED Accredited Professional in sustainable design and an active volunteer for Architecture for Humanity.
